A Mobile Scripture Project allows your church to take an active role in publishing and distributing the Word of God. We would bring the equipment, tools, printed Scripture portions, and experienced leadership directly to your church. Your people have the opportunity to participate firsthand in producing John and Romans that will be sent around the world.
How It Works
We Provide:
- A specially equipped Mobile Scripture Project trailer
- Printed John and Romans signatures and covers
- Collating, stapling, trimming, and boxing equipment
- Training and supervision for your volunteers
Your Church Provides:
- A work area such as a fellowship hall or gymnasium
- Volunteers of all ages willing to help
- A desire to be involved in getting the Word of God to the world
No previous experience is necessary. Our team will guide your volunteers through every step of the process.
What Can Be Accomplished?
Projects can be customized to fit the needs and schedule of your church. Depending on the number of volunteers and the amount of time available, churches may complete anywhere from 10,000 to 50,000 John and Romans during a single project.
Many churches choose a one-day project, while others host two- or three-day events to maximize participation and production. Scriptures may be produced in English or in many other languages, depending on current ministry needs around the world.
More Than an Assembly Project
A Mobile Scripture Project is more than simply putting booklets together. It gives believers a hands-on opportunity to participate in world missions and helps churches develop a greater burden for getting the Gospel to every creature.
Many churches choose to combine their project with a special missions emphasis. Brother Dave Smith, our Ministry Evangelist, is available to preach during Sunday services, missions conferences, revivals, banquets, or special meetings, sharing the need for Scripture around the world and challenging believers to become personally involved in the Great Commission.
A Ministry for the Entire Church Family
One of the unique blessings of a Mobile Scripture Project is that nearly everyone can participate. It is one of the few ministry opportunities where you will find a six-year-old and a sixty-year-old working side by side for the cause of Christ.
Children, teenagers, adults, and senior saints all find meaningful ways to help. Some fold covers, collate Scripture portions, others operate equipment, inspect Scripture portions, pack boxes, or assist with various stages of production. Every volunteer becomes an important part of placing the Word of God into the hands of people around the world.
Many believers may never have the opportunity to travel to a foreign mission field, but through a Mobile Scripture Project they can still have a direct part in worldwide Scripture distribution. As we often like to put it, "You may never go to the mission field, but you can send your fingerprints there."
Churches are often amazed at how quickly their people develop a burden for missions when they see thousands of John and Romans being prepared for missionaries and churches around the world. What begins as a workday often becomes a life-changing missions experience.
